Science is everywhere: insights from the JRC

Earlier this year, the European Commission’s Joint Research Center conducted a series of webinars on the role of science and the European Union in various areas of interest to research and citizenship. The webinars are in Italian, with usable videos for those who wish to listen and learn more.

Insights into the “green” and rural world

The first few months of the year saw various events and speeches on topics of relevance to the “agro” and rural worlds, which are of great relevance to policies, funds and the implementation of the European Union’s “Green Deal.” The speeches are in English.

The main European event of the year on “green” environmental issues, Green Week, has also recently concluded. Talks from the two days are available on the initiative website and at the following links: May 29-May 30. One of the main themes of this year’s Green Week was water: a “water-smart” economy, restoration of the water cycle, and widespread and equitable access to clean water.
