April 2026 calls for proposals – LIFE special

Script reporting European calls for proposals 2026 from April

Here is a review of the March news, posted as always on our Announcement Portal.

In April we identified a total of 139 new calls. The main news of the month is the opening of the LIFE Program calls, for which online info-days are already scheduled for May 12 and 13, 2026.

In addition to LIFE, for European programs, there are numerous calls open (of which many cascade funding) for Digital Europe, and there is some news for the Single Market Program, Creative Europe and CERV. Although fewer in number, there is also news on structural and rural funds.

European programs

  • LIFE program: 29 calls on climate change, circular economy, energy transition;
  • Digital Europe: 23 new calls on education and digital skills, AI and health, disinformation, infrastructure and innovation;
  • Single Market Program: 2 new calls on zero-emission technologies;
  • Creative Europe: 3 new calls in cinema;Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values: a new call for Civil Society Organizations.

Structural Funds

We have 48 new calls in:

  • Abruzzo (1), for audiovisual;
  • Basilicata (4), for childhood, scholarships, Higher Technical Education;
  • Calabria (2), for usury victim support, language skills;
  • Emilia Romagna (5), for strategic technologies, research and development, freelancers, disabilities, summer camp;
  • Lazio (7), for circular economy, internationalization, women’s entrepreneurship, sports, social and educational services;
  • Liguria (1), by higher technological education;
  • Lombardy (2), for skills and innovation, volunteering and the Third Sector;
  • Marche (1), for PhD scholarships;
  • P.A. Bolzano (1), by occupation;
  • Piedmont (4), for integrated supply chain projects, cinema, digital transition, higher education;
  • Sardinia (3), for investment, school construction, third-country national employment;
  • Sicily (6), for Energy infrastructure, social inclusion, self-entrepreneurship, research, employment, education and vocational training;
  • Tuscany (9), for educational services, countering violence, school dropouts, training, youth employment, transnational internships, compulsory education, integration;
  • Umbria (1), for redevelopment of cultural places;
  • Aosta Valley (1), for internship abroad.

There is also a call within the Capacity for Cohesion Program for territorial experts, a call from the School and Skills Program regarding digitization, and a nationally directed call from the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund for the labor inclusion of migrant women.

Rural Funds

In March, 30 new notices were published in 8 regions. In Emilia Romagna 2 calls on agricultural competitiveness, resilient orchards, establishment of young farmers; in Liguria 1 call on livestock farming; in Lombardy 5 new calls on wetlands, forestation, agroforestry systems, prevention of damage from natural disasters and climatic events; in Marche 3 calls on mountain areas, tourism and typical products, agrobiodiversity; in P.A of Trent 5 calls on mountain areas, meadow and pasture management, biodiversity, organic production; in Piedmont 10 new calls on arboriculture, forestry systems, quality schemes, mountain areas, organic farming, pig breeders; in Tuscany 1 call for young farmers; in Umbria 3 new calls for maintenance and income loss.

Other updates

We have updated the deadline of 13 calls, mainly in the rural area.
