Here is a review of the news for the month of May, posted as always on our Announcement Portal.
In May we identified a total of 106 new calls. For European programs we find 30 calls for Digital Europe, Single Market, ESF+, ERCV, LIFE, FAMI and Homeland Security.
With regard to structural and rural funds, there are more opportunities in May than last month, with extended deadlines for several notices concerning agricultural funds (CAP).
European programs
- Digital Europe: 11 new calls, mainly cascading funding, on AI, scholarships, microchips;
- Single Market Program: 6 new calls on green technologies and innovation;
- European Social Fund: 2 calls on micro-enterprises and public administration;
- Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values: 3 calls on civic space and town twinning;
- LIFE program: 2 calls in the operating grants type;
- Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund: 3 calls dedicated to prefectures and school integration;
- Homeland Security Fund: 3 calls on combating corruption, human trafficking and organized crime;

Structural Funds
We have 57 new calls in:
- Abruzzo (3), for unemployment and gender-based violence;
- Basilicata (4), for childhood, scholarships, culture and tourism;
- Calabria (3), for recycling collection, SME internationalization and schooling;
- Emilia-Romagna (9), for innovation, childhood services, music education and vocational training;
- Lazio (3), for live music and youth distress;
- Liguria (7), for family support, circular economy, innovation and tourism;
- Lombardy (5), for construction, volunteerism and gender equality;
- Marche (1), for enterprise financing;
- P.A. Bolzano (1), for social inclusion;
- P.A. Trent (1), for apprenticeship;
- Apulia (3), for home services, migrants and coastal erosion;
- Sardinia (2), for cultural heritage and digital strategy;
- Tuscany (12), for earthquake studies, inland areas, SME financing, school and child services, scholarships, gender equality and civil service;
- Umbria (2), by audiovisual sector and educational services;
- Aosta Valley (1), for enterprise training.
Rural Funds
In May, 19 new calls for proposals were published. In Abruzzo 2 new LAG-managed calls; in Basilicata 1 call on farm advisory services; in Calabria 1 call on livestock emission reduction; in Emilia Romagna 2 new calls on diversification of non-farming activities; in Marche 3 new calls on afforestation, enhancement of historic centers and attractiveness of rural areas; in Piedmont 4 new calls on young farmers, arboriculture and forestation; in Sardinia 4 calls on soil, product marketing and diversification; in Umbria 2 new calls on non-productive investments and wine market.
Other updates
We have updated the deadline of 63 calls, mainly in the rural area.
