Many people talk about it, citing data and information: but <strong>how many really know about it? <\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We refresh our knowledge of what <strong>Europe is<\/strong> and what it does for its citizens in a specialized section of the European Union&#8217;s website dedicated to outreach and education.  <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is called <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/europa.eu\/teachers-corner\/home_it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teachers&#8217; Corner<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  and contains short and incisive presentations, quizzes, and interactive materials explain Europe to the general public and especially to younger people, the European citizens of tomorrow. I  <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/europa.eu\/teachers-corner\/taxonomy\/term\/235_it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">teaching materials<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> collected are interesting even for the most knowledgeable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feel like going deeper? The<strong> European Union website<\/strong> offers a  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/europa.eu\/european-union\/documents-publications\/reports-booklets_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bookshop<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (free of course) full of quality publications, supported by a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/publications.europa.eu\/it\/more-search-options\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">search engine<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  (by type, industry, topic, author language) immediate and effective. It is worth taking a look at the  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/europa.eu\/european-union\/documents-publications\/reports-booklets\/general-report_it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">annual report<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the activities of the European Union and to the series &#8220;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/publications.europa.eu\/it\/web\/general-publications\/eu-at-a-glance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the EU at a Glance.<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;, which offers monographs referring to <strong>Europe&#8217;s activities and challenges <\/strong>on a wide variety of topics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tired of fake news? Perhaps not everyone knows that the <strong>European Commission&#8217;s Representation in Italy<\/strong> has activated a column,  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/italy\/news\/euromyths_it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">#Ueverofalso<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which aims to respond to some of the most frequent &#8220;hoaxes&#8221; bouncing around on social media involving the European Union. A similar service is also made available by EU representations in other countries: for example, by the one in  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/italy\/news\/euromyths_it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">France<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ec.europa.eu\/ECintheUK\/euromyths-a-z-index\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">United Kingdom<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/germany\/news\/eu-myths_de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Germany<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
