It started in June <\/span>\n ProGIreg<\/span>\n<\/a>, one of five European projects dedicated to inclusive urban regeneration<\/strong> based on environmental solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the official presentation in Dortmund<\/strong> (the project’s lead city) last fall, the first presentation workshops were also held in Turin<\/strong> and Zagreb<\/strong>, the other two European cities identified as “front-runners” in ProGIreg activities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The ProGIreg<\/strong> project (an acronym for “<\/span>\n Pro<\/span>\n ductive <\/span>\n G<\/span>\n reen <\/span>\n I<\/span>\n nfrastructure for post-industrial urban <\/span>\n Reg<\/span>\n<\/em>eneration<\/em>“) is the result of a very competitive selection process under the call “<\/span>\n Smart City – Horizon 2020 SCC2- Nature-based solutions for inclusive urban regeneration.<\/span>\n<\/a>“. Carrying a contribution of more than 10 million euros (including more than 2.5 for the Turin partners), it directly involves the Mirafiori Sud<\/strong> neighborhood and many local organisations in the Turin area: <\/span>City<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Polytechnic<\/span><\/a> e <\/span>University<\/span><\/a> Turin, <\/span>Environment Park<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Mirafiori Community Foundation<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Dual<\/span><\/a> e <\/span>Tall Gardens<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the next five years (2018-2023) ProGIreg<\/strong> will transform large areas of the South Mirafiori neighborhood into an open-air laboratory of technological and social innovation<\/strong> to experiment with nature- and environment-based urban regeneration solutions<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The project specifically includes:<\/span><\/p>\n
