But now the debate comes into full swing! We are in 2020, the last year of the current planning period.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>European Parliament <\/strong>has been elected and the <strong>European Commission <\/strong>is operational. All conditions are in place for new and substantial updates soon, after a period of relative stagnation.<\/p>\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n<p>For you in this post&#8230; a small, very first <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/prospetto-provvisorio-dei-programmi-europei-2021-2027\">&#8220;guide&#8221; to 2021-2027 programming<\/a>, which we will keep updated in the coming months!<\/p>\n\n<p>But let&#8217;s go in order, going over the <strong>main steps<\/strong> together:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/nuovo-quadro-finanziario-comunita-europea\/\">First post<\/a>: overview and preparatory work on the new financial framework;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/programmi-comunita-europea-2021-2027\/#more-2969\">second post<\/a>: following the first drafts of the financial framework and major European programs, produced by the European Commission; accompanied by our <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Voci-di-bilancio-e-programmi-comunitari-2021-2027-Agg.05-2019.pdf\">second all-encompassing prospectus<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/bilancio-comunitario-2021-2027-nuova-commissione-europea\/\">Fifth post<\/a>: presentation of the new European Commission (freshly appointed) and other updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What has happened that is new and important in these last few months?<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As mentioned earlier, the new Parliament and the new European Commission are fully operational; moreover, the Brexit process (with <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/brexit-2020-1\/\">major repercussions on<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/quali-sono-gli-effetti-della-brexit-sui-progetti-europei?\/\">EU policy and budget<\/a>) seems to have reached a decisive stage;<\/li>\n<li>The European Commission contributed to the European Council debates on the 2021-2027 budget with new <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/sites\/beta-political\/files\/communication-euco-mff-oct2019_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">documents<\/a> and new comments on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/sites\/info\/files\/factsheet-modern-eu-budget-future-challenges.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">data<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/sites\/info\/files\/factsheet-eu-budget-financing_.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">structure of<\/a> the budget;<\/li>\n<li>The European Council produced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/media\/41632\/mff-negotiating-box_presidency.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new draft negotiating outline<\/a> accompanied by figures (missing from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/media\/39843\/mff-revised-draft-negotiating-box.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previous one<\/a>, which we discuss <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/la-programmazione-del-bilancio-comunitario-2021-2027-4\/\">here<\/a>);<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/policies\/eu-budgetary-system\/multiannual-financial-framework\/mff-negotiations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Negotiations continue<\/a>, with a revision (downward trend) of the amounts provided for in the European Commission&#8217;s initial proposal (see table below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Voci-di-bilancio-Ammontare-1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3300\" src=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Voci-di-bilancio-Ammontare-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"443\"\/><\/a>\n<figcaption><em>Click on the table to enlarge it<\/em><\/figcaption>\n<\/figure>\n\n<p>We prepare for the new programming period with a new summary prospectus on community programming 2021-2027, which complements and replaces the previous ones.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/prospetto-provvisorio-dei-programmi-europei-2021-2027\">See the Interim Prospectus of European Programs 2021-2027<\/a><\/h3>\n\n<p>In addition to existing data and some updates, it provides a<strong> new, invaluable tool to allow you to follow the legislative process of the various community programs live!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>In all cases, the European Parliament&#8217;s resolutions on the Commission&#8217;s proposals remain the most up-to-date consolidated documents, but it is also useful (for the Programs in which you are most interested) to regularly follow the ongoing debate in the European Council (the main actor in the current phase of the EU legislative process) through the appropriate column in our prospectus.<\/p>\n\n<p>Of course, we will continue to update you and the prospectus at key moments in the approval process of the financial framework and community programs.<\/p>\n\n<p>Keep following us&#8230;discovering <strong>community programming 2021-2027<\/strong>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In various posts we have already begun to address the issue of preparing for the new community planning period 2021-2027 .
