We conclude (for now!) our review of portals dedicated to EU projects with a quick survey of a specific tool that is very useful to those in the field: online European project databases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

In addition to collecting procedures, best practices, training and in-depth materials, some Programs<\/a> and Agencies of the European Commission have developed particularly effective platforms for learning about the projects they have implemented and the people who have implemented them-an excellent source of information on trends in the field, good practices to follow, and possible partners to contact for our projects.<\/p>\n\n

EASME<\/h2>\n\n

Let’s analyze some of them together!TheExecutive Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises<\/strong>(EASME<\/a>) provides a number of “data hubs<\/a>” dedicated to projects in the main policy areas and EU programs it deals with: there is one for the LIFE<\/a> and COSME<\/a> programs(here<\/a> and here<\/a> the analysis of the respective programs), one for maritime affairs<\/a> and fisheries(here<\/a> the information about Italy) and one for the components of Horizon2020<\/a> managed by the EASME Agency(energy efficiency<\/a>, innovation<\/a>, small and medium-sized enterprises<\/a> and societal challenges<\/a>). Each of these platforms offers a dynamic map of project grantees and a search system that allows you to view lists of projects and grantees by filtering by project type, participant type, country, thematic area, funding amount, call date, project start and end dates, and keywords.<\/p>\n\n

EACEA<\/h2>\n\n

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency(EACEA<\/a>) is in the process of developing a similar system for the main programs it manages, namely Erasmus+<\/a>, Creative Europe<\/a> and Europe for Citizens<\/a>(<\/a>here, here<\/a> and here<\/a>, in order, are in-depth links to the three programs). The platforms are still being finalized and refined from a technical point of view, but they should make it possible to view all data on projects funded in recent years and their beneficiaries. Here you can see, for example, a tentative list provided in excel format<\/a> for Creative Europe projects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

EU Aid Explorer<\/h2>\n\n

In the area of development cooperation<\/a>, the European Commission is proposing an innovative platform, called “EU Aid Explorer<\/a>,” which provides an overview of all data in the sector: countries and beneficiaries, sectors and forms of intervention, relating not only to EU funds but also to funds provided by individual member states and other European donors(EIB<\/a> and trust funds).<\/p>\n\n

Data and statistics can be displayed on an interactive map and filtered, compared, aggregated and disaggregated in many combinations.<\/p>\n\n

Keep.eu<\/h2>\n\n

In the area of Territorial Cooperation<\/a>, we point out the keep.eu<\/a> platform, which allows to consult many thousands of projects implemented through this type of<\/a> EU funds and their implementing entities, searchable by program, country, region, theme, period and type of partner.<\/p>\n\n

The territorial cooperation programs surveyed by the keep.eu platform are in the hundreds: the scope of analysis is obviously much broader than that of our guide, which is limited to programs of interest to Italian beneficiaries. A true mine of ideas, contacts, and best practices that reaches far beyond our borders!<\/p>\n\n

OpenCoesione<\/h2>\n\n

A similar archive related to Structural Funds<\/a> can be found on the OpenCoesione<\/a> platform. It is a very comprehensive tool that presents:<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  1. a system for selecting and browsing Projects (by type, theme and local organisations) and Programs (ERDF, ESF, NOP, ROP by region) with related statistics, infographics, maps and project lists;<\/li>\n
  2. an archive of Involved Subjects (with searchability by local organisations, role, type of action, theme, amount of funding and number of projects);<\/li>\n
  3. other resources, tools and content (divided into Preparatory Work, Resources, Strategies and Programs, for each programming cycle; Opportunities, Calls and Lists of Beneficiaries).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
