We have already presented in one of our previous posts<\/a> the main stages of Structural Funds programming in Italy. <\/p>\n\n At the community level, the Multiannual Financial Framework and the Specific Regulations for the Structural Funds are approved and in the process of final and formal validation.<\/p>\n\n At the Italian level, thePartnership Agreement<\/strong> and the Unified Strategic Documents<\/strong> (which present the strategy for the use of Structural Funds at the national and regional levels, respectively) are being discussed and finalized<\/a>, which are already advanced in many regions.<\/p>\n\n Data on thetotal allocation of Structural Funds<\/strong> for Italy are already available. Our country is among the largest recipients of the Structural Funds in absolute terms and among the largest in relative terms, especially considering that the allocation of the Funds is inversely proportional to the country’s level of development. As we know<\/a>, Structural Funds are the application of the EU’s regional policy and aim to reduce the existing gap between European regions in order to achieve balanced economic and social development across all territories of the Union.<\/p>\n\n We present below a summary and comparative elaboration of the data for the Structural Funds 2021-2027<\/p>\n\n ESF+<\/strong> European social fund +ERDF<\/strong> european regional development fundCT<\/strong> territorial cooperationFC<\/strong> cohesion fundEAGF<\/strong> European agricultural guarantee fundEAFRD<\/strong> European agricultural fund for rural development<\/p>\n\n Source: Structural Funds<\/a>, EAGF<\/a>, EAFRD<\/a>, Population<\/a>, GDP<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n In this context, meetings<\/a> kicked off on Thursday, Feb. 25, to share the Piedmont Region’s draft Unified Strategic Document<\/a> with all stakeholders in the territory of the “northeast quadrant” (Novara, Vercelli, Biella and VCO). The next meetings are scheduled on these dates:<\/p>\n\n This is an excellent opportunity for everyone (organizations, institutions, social partners and civil society) to learn more about future Structural Funds<\/strong> programming in Piedmont.
