For this reason, the corresponding section of the Guide is not yet updated, unlike the section on the  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/programmi-comunitari\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">community programs<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/cooperazione-territoriale-europea\/\">The <\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/cooperazione-territoriale-europea\/\">Cooperation<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/cooperazione-territoriale-europea\/\">Territorial <\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> also follows similar logic (it is funded by the ERDF) and somewhat longer time frames.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have already published two important articles regarding the 2021-2027 programming of the Structural Funds, respectively about <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/fondi-strutturali-novita-approfondimenti\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a year ago<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and about <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/fondi-strutturali-italia\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">six months ago<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We resume here, briefly, its main points:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/fondi-strutturali-novita-approfondimenti\/\">\n  <b>The Sources.<\/b>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Platforms. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/opencoesione.gov.it\/it\/gruppi-programmi\/ue-1420\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OpenCoesione<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Italian) and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cohesiondata.ec.europa.eu\/countries\/IT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CohesionData<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (EU) allow people to take stock of 2014-2020 programming and learn about the progress of 2021-2027 programming;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/fondi-strutturali-novita-approfondimenti\/\"><b>The Process.<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  The community part of the Structural Funds programming process was concluded with the approval of the Multiannual Financial Framework, the applicable Regulations and the allocation of funds among EU countries. In contrast, the national and regional parts of the process (Partnership Agreement, Strategic Documents, ROPs and NOPs) are still ongoing;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/fondi-strutturali-italia\/\"><b>Available Funds.<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Italy&#8217;s share of Structural Funds has already been defined at about 42 billion euros, divided between ERDF (about 27) and ESF+ (about 15), plus about 37 billion euros for agriculture and rural development and, of course, the national co-financing share;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/fondi-strutturali-novita-approfondimenti\/\">\n  <b>What&#8217;s new.<\/b>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The new programming includes. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/vocabolario-programmazione-2021-2027\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5 thematic objectives<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, aimed at building a &#8220;smarter,&#8221; &#8220;green,&#8221; &#8220;connected,&#8221; &#8220;social,&#8221; and &#8220;citizen-friendly&#8221; Europe. A  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/regional_policy\/sources\/docgener\/factsheet\/new_cp\/simplification_handbook_it.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">simplification effort<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Of the procedures of the standards. The operation of the Structural Funds will be supported by new instruments (such as  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/programmi-comunitari\/investeu\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> o <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/programmi-comunitari\/meccanismo-transizione-giusta\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) and their rules will also apply to other programs (such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/programmi-comunitari\/asilo-migrazione-integrazione\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>The allocation of funds by region and program.<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Partnership Agreement is the document that regulates and plans the organization of Structural Funds in Italy. It is drafted in consultation among national, regional and European institutions. Possible discrepancies in totals due to rounding.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Source: draft Partnership Agreement 27\/9\/2021<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h2><b>The organization of objectives in the Structural Funds<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A second important aspect of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/2021-09-27-Bozza-Accordo-di-Partenariato-2021-20207.pdf\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">draft Partnership Agreement<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is the thematic organization, which incorporates the 5 major thematic objectives (Smarter Europe, &#8220;Green,&#8221; &#8220;Connected,&#8221; &#8220;Social,&#8221; and &#8220;Closer to Citizens&#8221;) and the specific objectives stated in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32021R1058&amp;from=it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ERDF<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/IT\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32021R1057&amp;from=it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ESF+<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
