We have already devoted <\/span>\n several updates<\/span>\n<\/a> to the Horizon Europe program, and with good reason: <\/span>\n it is by far<\/span>\n<\/a> the largest of the directly managed EU programs and is a unique opportunity for <\/span>\n innovators of all kinds<\/span>\n<\/a>, even in fields not directly related to science and technology. <\/span> <\/p>\n We had <\/span>\n already reported on<\/span>\n<\/a> the Infodays and the 2021-2022 work program, as well as <\/span>\n the guide and video resources<\/span>\n<\/a> produced by the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE). <\/span> <\/p>\n It is now time for a new update: in fact <\/span>1)<\/b> in December<\/span><\/a> the new <\/span>work program for the years 2023-2024<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>2)<\/b> have recently taken place<\/span> the <\/span>Commission Infoday<\/span><\/a> European and <\/span>3)<\/b> yes <\/span>Will take place shortly (next week)<\/span> the <\/span>Infoday dedicated to Italy<\/span><\/a>, curated by the APRE Agency.<\/span><\/p>\n Let’s find out together the most interesting points of all these new features. Let’s go in order. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In December <\/span>\n was published<\/span>\n<\/a> the new Horizon Europe work program, which is “worth” 13.5 billion euros over the two-year period 2023-2024 (compared to a<\/span>\n total allocation<\/span>\n<\/a> of 95.5 billion over the entire seven-year period).<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>\n work program 2023-2024<\/span>\n<\/a> is organized as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n The new work program presents special attention to the following priorities:<\/span><\/p>\n (*) We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the <\/span><\/i>call for entries for the 2023 New European Bauhaus Award<\/span><\/i><\/a>has been published. <\/span><\/i>The call for entries<\/span><\/i> has a January 31 deadline and meets the initiative’s motto of “beautiful, sustainable, together.” It has three sections (established projects; young talent; Bauhaus in education) and four categories (contact with nature; sense of belonging; prioritizing places and people who need it most; circular industrial ecosystem and life cycle thinking). <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Infodays on Horizon Europe are organized with some frequency, as the considerable breadth of the program necessitates a variety of dedicated in-depth moments. A new series of Infodays was launched in conjunction with the presentation of the new work program in December. The main appointments already completed include: <\/span><\/p>\n Also recently completed or in progress are the<\/span> Infodays for the remaining areas:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>\n program<\/span>\n<\/a> (where links to videos of the sessions will be uploaded);<\/span><\/li>\n <\/p>\n L’<\/span>\n Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE)<\/span>\n<\/a>, the national contact point for the program, is devoting all of next week to a series of Info Days specifically organized for Italian beneficiaries of Horizon Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n The events will be held online from January 23 to 27, and, as <\/span>reported by the organizers<\/span><\/a>, will be <\/span>\u201ccomplementary to those of the European Commission, providing a complete and comprehensive overview\u201d<\/span><\/i>, helping <\/span>\u201cto shed light on the key aspects for successful national participation in the 2023 calls for proposals\u201d<\/span><\/i>, alongside various European Commission officials and national delegates. <\/span> <\/p>\n The sessions, which will be spread over a five-day program, will cover the 6 Clusters of Horizon Europe (1. Health, 2. Culture, creativity and inclusive society, 3. Social security, 4. Digital, industry and space, 5. Climate, energy and mobility, and 6. Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment) and the other components of the program. <\/span>\u201cThe sessions will focus on the presentation of the 2023 Work Programs, supplemented by a review of the results from the first two years of Horizon Europe and an overview of initiatives related to each specific theme.
