European calls for proposals, what’s new this fall in Italy<\/b><\/h2>\n

As with every beginning of the season, this fall brings us many interesting news, opportunities and calls for proposals. Let’s start with news about opportunities closest to us.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the national level.<\/b>, the current phase of creating new political arrangements has slowed down the process of Structural Fund programming, NRP reforms and the establishment of the rural fund framework starting next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the process has been moving forward from various perspectives: both in terms of programming funds at the regional level and in terms of launching calls under the NRP.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for the <\/span>Structural Funds<\/b>, still few regions have completed the approval process of their respective Operational Programs for both ERDF and ESF+. Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Tuscany, Piedmont and Liguria have already done so. Many other regions have already completed the process with regard to the ESF+ ROP, while the NOPs, which cover the nationally managed portion of Structural Funds, have not yet been approved.<\/span><\/p>\n

All regions continue to launch calls under the 2014-2020 programming, but in some regions the first calls under the 2021-2027 period are beginning to be seen (e.g., in Emilia-Romagna for <\/span>\n ERDF<\/span>\n<\/a> e <\/span>\n ESF+<\/span>\n<\/a> e <\/span>\n in Piedmont<\/span>\n<\/a> for ESF+).<\/span><\/p>\n

Most of the programs of <\/span>Territorial Cooperation<\/b> have been approved by the European Commission, and the respective Managing Authorities have been launching calls for proposals under the new programming for some time now.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will publish a more comprehensive update on this topic shortly <\/span>on the pages of our Guide<\/b>, preparatory to a more structural update of the sections still referring to the previous programming cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

I <\/span>NRP calls for proposals<\/b> (to which we devote a <\/span>\n dedicated section<\/span>\n<\/a> of the Guide) have entered a decidedly intense phase, given the approaching 2023 deadline for commitment of funds. The Italia Domani reference site now appears much more populated with calls and opportunities than in the early days, with dedicated pages full of proposals for calls launched both by the <\/span>\n Titular Administrations<\/span>\n<\/a> (Ministries and governmental structures) and by the <\/span>\n Implementing Subjects<\/span>\n<\/a> (Regions, Agencies, etc.).<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile-and here we come to the more “classic” part of our “Upcoming Calls” column-the fall also brings us many interesting opportunities from community calls <\/span>\n under direct management<\/span>\n<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

To this end, we recall that the <\/span><\/i>Prospectus<\/span><\/i><\/a> of the Europlanning Guide and the pages devoted to individual <\/span><\/i>Community Programs<\/span><\/i><\/a> report in a systematic and immediate way all the links to directly access the pages containing information, calls, results of the calls and (under “Docs”) the Work Plans of the different European Programs.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Here are the most interesting calls due this fall. There are many others, just as interesting, due in the winter; therefore, for better preparation of your projects we recommend that you refer to the <\/span>\n appropriate pages<\/span>\n<\/a> of our Guide – or on the <\/span>\n Funding&Tenders<\/span>\n<\/a> of the European Commission.<\/span><\/p>\n
