{"id":22991,"date":"2022-02-22T08:59:19","date_gmt":"2022-02-22T08:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.guidaeuroprogettazione.eu\/europlanning-guide-new-content-and-a-new-approach\/"},"modified":"2025-12-03T17:30:34","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T17:30:34","slug":"europlanning-guide-new-content-and-a-new-approach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euknow.it\/en\/europlanning-guide-new-content-and-a-new-approach\/","title":{"rendered":"EU projects and funding guide: new content and a new approach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The content enrichment of the Guide to EU Projects and Funding continues, with a fact sheet for each EU program and more in-depth coverage of structural and rural funds.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><b>Community programs: another chapter completed<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These days we have completed the drafting of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/programmi-comunitari\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chapter 4 sheets<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which describe in detail beneficiaries, objectives, actions, projects and main new features of all community programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If prior to this latest integration (and in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/wp-content\/guida_europrogettazione.epub\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">previous edition of the Guide<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) the main programs were covered, it is now also possible to find those related to more specific areas of possible interest to some readers: from programs related to nuclear power to those on space, defense, security and major infrastructure; from programs related to cooperation with specific countries to those aimed at strengthening the various institutional structures of member states (justice, tax, customs, reforms, anti-fraud services, borders and visas).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even for those who do not deal with these specific areas, the coverage of all the programs (which is combined with a systematic collection of all the most important external links) is useful for a truly comprehensive overview of the architecture of EU funds.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Structural and rural funds: lots more information<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also these days, you can find online the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/categorie-finanziamento-2021-2027\/i-fondi-strutturali\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">new edition of chapter 2.2.<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  On structural and rural funds. Again, the updated edition offers important new features:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A more accurate terminological distinction between the different funds and between the main EU policies, to more clearly define the relationship between Structural Funds, Cohesion Policy and Agricultural and Fisheries Policies;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A greater focus on rural funds, which indeed represent a very large proportion of European funds (similar to non-rural Structural Funds);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A sub-chapter devoted to each individual Fund, so that there is a direct correspondence between the structure of funds and programs indicated in the  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/per-orientarsi\/prospetto-dei-programmi-europei-2021-2027\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chapter 1.4. (summary table)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  and related fact sheets.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>A summary prospectus, for everything<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this way, we have <\/span><b>completed the examination of all the European funds and programs of the 2021-2027 programming<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, summarized in this new edition of the Guide in a single <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/per-orientarsi\/prospetto-dei-programmi-europei-2021-2027\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">prospectus<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Each fund and each program has its counterpart in the sections  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/programmi-comunitari\/\">\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Community programs) 4.<\/span>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> o <\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/guida\/categorie-finanziamento-2021-2027\/i-fondi-strutturali\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.2. (structural and rural funds)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What are we missing?<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> We need to complete the examination of national, regional and interregional structural fund programming (NOPs, ROPs, RDPs and Interreg programs), in <\/span><b>Chapters 5 and 6<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
