Online resources for learning more about how European planning<\/strong> works are increasingly rich and plentiful.<\/p>\n\n

However, they are not always known to everyone or easily accessible. We are resuming with this Post the series of “Guides to the Guide,” with which we want to give maximum visibility and dissemination to content (100% “DOC” and first-hand) from official sources: the European Commission <\/strong>and EU program management authorities<\/a>. In this article, a focus on the Horizon2020 Handbook.<\/p>\n\n

We recently anticipated some of these elements in the Posts devoted to partner search<\/a>, the European Commission’s “calls portal”<\/a> and registration procedures (“EU Login”)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

With a new small review (which we will continue in the coming weeks) we look at some of the tools made available by individual EU programs<\/a>: very useful both for those dealing with a specific thematic area and for an in-depth look at the more cross-cutting aspects of europlanning activity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

A small caveat: these are resources almost exclusively in English-not<\/strong> a problem for Europrojectors and would-be Europrojectors! However, if it may make it easier for some to read, remember that it is possible to consult a rudimentary Italian version of all the websites (retaining most of their functionality) by pasting their http address into Google Translate<\/a> (or similar tools).<\/p>\n\n

Let’s start with Horizon 2020<\/a>, one of the largest and most well-known EU programs<\/strong>, which provides an extensive online Horizon2020 handbook<\/a> with simple directions and cross-references related to the different stages of an EU project designer’s work.<\/p>\n\n
