The main news of the month is the opening of the LIFE Program calls, with dedicated Infodays on May 12 and 13. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to LIFE, for European programs, there are numerous calls open (of which many <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/en\/i-cascade-funding-agile-calls-to-access-european-funds\/\">cascade funding<\/a>) for Digital Europe, and there is some news for the Single Market Program, Creative Europe and CERV. Although fewer in number, there is also news on structural and rural funds. <\/p>\n<h2>LIFE 2026: the new calls and Infodays<\/h2>\n<p>The main news of the month is the opening of the LIFE Program&#8217;s 2026 calls: here the set of calls on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/portal\/screen\/opportunities\/calls-for-proposals?frameworkProgramme=43252405&#038;programmePeriod=2021%20-%202027&#038;isExactMatch=true&#038;status=31094501,31094502&#038;order=DESC&#038;pageNumber=1&#038;pageSize=50&#038;sortBy=startDate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Funding&#038;Tenders portal<\/a> and the   <a href=\"https:\/\/cinea.ec.europa.eu\/life-calls-proposals-2026_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CINEA agency website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cinea.ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/life_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LIFE<\/a>, the European program dedicated to the environment, nature conservation and climate change, is organized into four subprograms:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Environment&#8221; sector: &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/cinea.ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/life\/nature-and-biodiversity_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nature and Biodiversity<\/a>&#8221; (LIFE NAT) and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/cinea.ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/life\/circular-economy-and-quality-life_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Circular Economy and Quality of Life<\/a>&#8221; Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values: a new call for Civil Society Organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the flagged calls, please see <a href=\"https:\/\/euknow.it\/en\/the-agenda-2026-for-european-design\/\">our Agenda 2026<\/a> for an overview of European call publications in the coming months.<\/p>\n<h2>Structural Funds<\/h2>\n<p>We have 48 new calls in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abruzzo (1), for audiovisual;<\/li>\n<li>Basilicata (4), for childhood, scholarships, Higher Technical Education;<\/li>\n<li>Calabria (2), for usury victim support, language skills;<\/li>\n<li>Emilia Romagna (5), for strategic technologies, research and development, freelancers, disabilities, summer camp;<\/li>\n<li>Lazio (7), for circular economy, internationalization, women&#8217;s entrepreneurship, sports, social and educational services;<\/li>\n<li>Liguria (1), by higher technological education;<\/li>\n<li>Lombardy (2), for skills and innovation, volunteering and the Third Sector;<\/li>\n<li>Marche (1), for PhD scholarships;<\/li>\n<li>P.A. Bolzano (1), by occupation;<\/li>\n<li>Piedmont (4), for integrated supply chain projects, cinema, digital transition, higher education;<\/li>\n<li>Sardinia (3), for investment, school construction, third-country national employment;<\/li>\n<li>Sicily (6), for Energy infrastructure, social inclusion, self-entrepreneurship, research, employment, education and vocational training;<\/li>\n<li>Tuscany (9), for educational services, countering violence, school dropouts, training, youth employment, transnational internships, compulsory education, integration;<\/li>\n<li>Umbria (1), for redevelopment of cultural places;<\/li>\n<li>Aosta Valley (1), for internship abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is also a call within the <strong>Capacity for Cohesion Program<\/strong> for territorial experts, a call from the <strong>School and Skills Program<\/strong> regarding digitization, and a nationally directed call from the <strong>Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund<\/strong> for the labor inclusion of migrant women.<\/p>\n<h2>Rural Funds<\/h2>\n<p>In March, 30 new notices were published in 8 regions.
