The Guide: handy resources for teaching European design
EUknow.it is a valuable tool for those who work with European planning by developing projects and through teaching. If you reflect yourself in this profile, let’s try to go deeper: here are some reasons why the Guide is the tool for you.
- EUknow.it helps you develop a clear and straightforward learning path for your learners. In the Handbook section, it provides content on European planning from the ground up, with content ranging from why European projects and funds exist to how they are defined and allocated.
- The Guide provides practical tools for teaching European project writing by moving from theory to practice. Content for orientation and tools for working on the project, from project preparation and development to partnership management to monitoring and reporting. The Guide’s Glossary brings together concise explanations of key European project terms.
- EUknow.co.uk also supports you with content so you can easily explain the European Programs, with an overview of the programs as a whole for a first overview and easy-to-follow fact sheets for each program with links to EU reference documents, such as programming documents, calls for proposals, results, official sites, news and more.
- A wide range of guides and tools gives access to multimedia materials that can be used in educational settings, with content developed by European institutions (and beyond) and podcasts to keep up-to-date: the catalog is constantly being expanded and updated, and ranges from European Commission webinars, to guides prepared by individual organizations, to our podcasts, video-pills, training moments and Infodays collected in an Audio and Video section.
- To accompany the teaching with concrete examples and case studies, the Insights section features articles on European project trends and issues, common mistakes in writing a European project, and examples of good practice from local organisations. In the Stories section of the Guide, experiences, successes and difficulties of working on European projects are recounted, with insights referring to a wide range of sectors.
- And, if you want to accompany your teaching with examples of concrete calls for proposals, open funding opportunities for European, national, regional, and territorial cooperation programs can be found in the Guide’s Calls Portal. The portal is updated monthly and accompanied by an ad hoc article in the news section summarizing the most salient news.
These are just some of the resources you can find on our new platform, EUknow.it. Keep following us in the upcoming videopills to discover the sections and contents of the Guide together with new fellow travelers.
